About Emanuel Community Center

Emanuel Lutheran Church exists to proclaim the Word of God in Jesus Christ:

In desiring to understand what it means to be God's family, the congregation is challenged by the Word through worship, education, fellowship and service.

In living the Word, the congregation believes the love of Jesus Christ nurtures the family and enables the members to hear and respond to the needs of each other and the neighborhood.

In responding to the Word, Emanuel is open to change that enables the relevance of the Gospel message to be experienced by many participants in the life of the church and the community that surrounds Emanuel.

Although the implementation and planning of our programs rests with individuals in the congregation, the support of our Mission Partners and friends is crucial to the success of our programs and has direct positive impact on the families and children in the neighborhood.
