The current church directory is on the table in the narthex. We need your help suggesting needed corrections, additions or changes in general. We’ll have an updated version of it ready soon. Volunteers needed: We are in need of volunteers for the many programs going on in our church. We are blessed with a very active community outreach ministry which provides us many opportunities to practice good stewardship of our time and talents. The “Family Hair Care” classes, the “Money Skills for Life” workshops, are two events where you can serve right now. That’s in addition to our ongoing Food Pantry Program, the ESL classes and the Creations of the Heart group. Upcoming are also cooking classes offered by the North Texas Food Bank and our yearly Summer Reading Program and Back-to-School Carnival. Talk with Pat or Blanca if you want to sign up for any of these. The Family Hair Care class needs a swivel stool. It would make the class much easier for the teacher. If you have onet you are able to donate, please let Pat know. Thrivent Builds trip to El Salvador: Once again we remind you that if you want to be part of this trip, you need to attend the orientation meeting on February 26 at Green Hills United Methodist Church. If you want more information you can talk to Pastor Julio or Judy Kline. Creations of the Heart has restarted their meetings on Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The group is gathering in Ericson Hall. The work to be done will go to benefit the ministries of the church. Materials will be provided. All are invited! The Crochet Class is meeting Sundays after the English service. We have a goal of having 100 scarves ready to distribute among the clients of the food pantry for the cold season. If you want to participate in this ministry, or if you need more materials, talk to Cindy or Pat. Postcards – We have Emanuel postcards available. If you happen to notice the absence of someone or you are just looking for a way to reach out to a friend or neighbor, this would be a great way to do it.
